The effectiveness of teachers' use their metacognitive skills is closely related to the success learning process. Nowadays, it imperative for students self-regulatory and cope with changes happening around world. This study seeks determine if awareness levels pre-service teachers vary when they are grouped according gender year level. sample size this 120 enrolled in a teacher education program at state university Philippines. Two instruments were utilized which Personal Information Form Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) adapted from Schraw Dennison (1994). Generally, results show that teachers’ high.
